The characteristic of Ralph’s leadership does not change while the others like Jack and his hunters and the rest and the others that were recruited. While Ralph and Piggy’s were concerned about being rescued and finding help with setting up a law and security. The others were more interested in having fun and eating meat everyday. Ralph and Piggy and think that Jack and the others are not concerned about going home. It seems that they are going to do whatever they want. They are stealing fire from Ralph’s gang, and Jack is acting like a Wildman by painting up his face and dancing. Ralph thinks of other, Jack specially like an Ape. It seems to them that Jack and the others are really losing their minds when they attack Ralph and the others at their shelter just to steal Piggy’s glasses.
So they will not have to worry about fire and where to get it. Ralph sees Jack and his little army as some bunch of troublemakers always looking to cause someone some trouble. It seems that Jack and his troops are still stuck on the first stage of Maslows Hierarchy of needs. While the others are on to the safety needs.

Good observation about Jack's group being stuck at the first level of Maslow's hierarchy. Do you think Ralph's concern with safety and security has a chance of winning out over the hunt?
